A 501 3 (c) non-profit foundation, The mission of Holes Hoops and Hope are to serve the Houston metropolitan area with sports, media, educational and business empowerment programs  for diverse inner city and underserved residents plus programs for women. LGBTO and potential minority owned business  through our SCORE Minority and Women Owned Programs 

Holes Hoops and Hope was formed in 2016 my Michael Lewis a former basketball coach whose mission was to help the less fortunate with clothing and shoes in which during the holiday season He would volunteer with a local faith based group and would use extra milk and donuts to give to the homeless during the holiday season, 

The idea would form into a broadening of the organizational plan to help the structure of the families in income challenged communities and young people in those communities opportunities to get educational, athletic and empowerment skills in media, business and community advocacy

Holes Hoops and Hope as various projects with the following:

The Mary  Project -  The media and business program that is designed for aspiring women's and minority  journalists who are looking for a career in radio and television media  from news writing and reporting to radio broadcasting and business ownership opportunities 

Holes Hoops and Hope Academy -   Holes Hoops and Hope has developed a sports academy for inner city home school bound and underprivileged youth between the ages of 13 to 18 years of age. The mission of the academy will be not only to teach the basic fundamentals of basketball ,volleyball baseball and track But to develop educational and life skills such as assisting the community through outreach campaigns , summer internship job opportunities and faith based learning skills . Field Trips to watch local professional sports events in the Houston area. 

Our IRS 5013C Employer number is 03--0473577  number  and we are DUNS registered. We have partnered with various colleges in the Houston area and employ undergraduate interns seeking college hour credit.
